Responsibilities

• Lead research initiatives in the areas of reasoning and semantics within the AI/ML team, setting research directions and priorities aligned with project goals.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior researchers and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate research findings into practical solutions and product features.
• Stay updated with the latest research trends and breakthroughs in AI/ML, reasoning, semantics, and transformer-based models like LLM and VLA networks, incorporating relevant advancements into project strategies.
• Drive intellectual property (IP) generation through patent applications, technology disclosures, and other means to protect and monetize innovative ideas.
• Represent the company in academic and industry forums, presenting research findings, participating in panel discussions, and building partnerships.
• Contribute to the development of grant proposals and funding applications to secure external research grants and sponsorships.

Expertise

• Ph.D. or equivalent experience in computer science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or related field, with a focus on reasoning, semantics, or symbolic AI.
• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge in areas such as knowledge representation, logic programming, semantic web, and ontologies, as well as transformer-based models like LLM and VLA networks.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++, as well as deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience in conducting independent research and publishing in top-tier conferences and journals in AI/ML, reasoning, or related fields.
