Responsibilities
- Build and optimize reasoning systems to support various functionalities of the humanoid robot.
- Collaborate with AI researchers, data scientists, and other engineers to integrate reasoning capabilities seamlessly into the overall AI framework.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in reasoning, logic, and AI to continually improve our systems.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for reasoning-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and regulatory standards in the development of reasoning systems.
- Present progress, challenges, and solutions to senior leadership, incorporating their feedback as necessary.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure timely completion of reasoning system projects.
Expertise
- Proven experience as a software engineer with a focus on reasoning systems, logical inference, or similar areas.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Prolog, or languages used for logic programming.
- Strong understanding of reasoning techniques, including rule-based systems, ontology-based reasoning, and probabilistic reasoning.
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks and tools, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and others.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to tackle complex logical challenges.
